Budasensor Kft. was founded in 1993 as a family business by an electrical engineer-chemical engineer couple, Gyula Ébner and his wife.

Until 1998, Budasensor served as the Hungarian representative for Turck, after which Gyula Ébner, relying on Budasensor’s expertise, established Turck Hungary Kft.

From the start Budasensor has made significant progress both professionally and in terms of its activities. The company’s additive and tank farm monitoring systems, SCADA systems are used by several strategically important organizations and companies, such as the Hungarian Defense Forces, Budapest Waterworks, and Nuclear Power Plant of Paks.

After a successful change in generation the company shifted its focus to industrial image processing. Since 2011, Budasensor has been a system integrator partner of Cognex, working close together to implement vision systems. The company currently operates with a team of 25-30 employees and has significant experience in the field of industrial machine vision. Our quality control, process control applications, and special machines are now used in 25 countries around the world, excluding Australia, and on every continent.

Our goal is to be internationally recognized as a leading vision specialist and to provide solutions for even the most complex vision tasks. To achieve this, we continuously train our experts and our vision lab. Our vision systems and special machines are primarily designed for multinational manufacturers. As a vision specialist and integrator, we collaborate with both domestic and international machine manufacturers to implement the vision functions required by end-users or machine builders.
